Our target is everyone and anyone who has a positive dream or vision to achieve in life spiritually, educationally,financially, emotionally, physically, and culturally we share about them all. We have a broad and diverse audience, all of whom are thirsty for God. Our purpose is to challenge Christians and non-Christians alike to a deeper level of their spiritual walk with God.

OUR INTEREST: Features for both the website and the magazine.

Magazine Features: Our features are 800-1000-word, journalistic, mostly third-person pieces that require interviews with knowledgeable sources and research. Our features can also be written from the first-person using personal illustrations, experiences and insight.

Website Features: Our features are 700-900 words and can be written from the first-person using personal illustrations and insight.

Biblical Nugget: Contains knowing God, contemplative practices, spiritual disciplines, theological topics, church-related topics, leading others, worship and more.

GX Fashion: Our features are 500-800-word, journalistic, mostly third-person pieces that require interviews with knowledgeable sources and research in the fashion industry. They can also be written from the first-person using personal illustrations, experiences and insight. The focus is on how we can represent the kingdom in a positive and fashionable way through our appearance.

Lifestyle: Covers how people can handle family, relationships, careers, finances, leisure time, travel, psychology, ethics/morality, short fiction, poetry and lifestyle choices from a Godly perspective.

Faith Talk: Views and perspectives of our faith, culture and what it means to really have faith in God.

Sports: Covers information about athletes beyond the arena. It also includes sports stories, news, highlights and interviews.

GX Networking: Spiritually minded with a focus on business and economic development. Music Reviews: Our music coverage is Christian and Gospel music that can inspire and uplift people.

Progressive Culture: Talks about what's hip, new and cool in culture-trends, fashion, film, TV, arts and music.

How to submit a Question: Please send questions to our managing editor at managingeditor@gxmag.com. Include a summary describing your article concept, an estimated length and deadline. Please include the spiritual theme and/or perspective. Email submissions preferred, please do not call or fax. Note that all articles will be edited for length, grammar, content, style and tone. We will forward the question to the appropriate editor.

How to Submit Articles: We prefer submissions as Word attachments. Your name and a one-two sentence bio should be included with your submission. Submissions to the website are on a donation basis (Star list, byline and bio are compensation). Articles are automatically archived. Please double-check spelling and grammar before submitting. Once a notice has been sent to you an assignment is made (we assign one month out from the bi-monthly editorial deadline). Thearticle should be emailed by midnight of the deadline given. If the article does not meet the deadline or does not meet editorial standards, we reserve the right to refuse payment. Payment is within 60 days of publication of accepted article, payment is a flat rate based around .10 a word, first-time print rights and all electronic rights to unpublished pieces for six months, non-exclusive rights thereafter. Magazine articles may be featured or excerpted on our website or published in books published in Relevant Books.

Compensation: Be aware that all submissions to GX MAGAZINE and www.gxmag.com are on a donation basis (byline and bio are compensation). Please send submissions as Word attachments. Your name and a two-three sentence bio should be included with your submission. Writers for GX MAGAZINE will receive two copies of the issue in which their article appears.

All writers retain copyright for their published article on the website. All article submissions to GX MAGAZINE give us the right to modify, use, distribute, reproduce, publish and display the submission indefinitely in all media, means and forms. By submitting a story, you are granting copyright of those pieces to GX Media for a period of one year (click here for details about the reprint section). Your articles are automatically archived. If any of your articles are published and you are not a subscriber, we will email you a link to view your article and print it for your portfolio.
